WADA Publishes 2025 Prohibited List
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) published the 2025 List of Prohibited Substances and Methods (List), which was approved by WADA’s Executive Committee (ExCo) during its meeting on 12 September 2024 and enters into force on 1 January 2025.

The training for sports referees of the Polish Billiard Association, held in Kielce, covered various important topics. These included how the global anti-doping system works, the laws governing anti-doping, and players’ responsibilities.

WCBS attends WADA’s 2024 Global Education Conference in France
Today, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) welcomed a record number of participants to the opening of the 2024 Global Education Conference (GEC) at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.

Anti-Doping Presentation in Batumi
For the first time, billiard players from Georgia and Azerbaijan took part in anti-doping training before the international Ajara Cup tournament in Batumi, Georgia. The information session, led by WCBS Anti-Doping Director Marcin Krzemiński, was attended by 40 participants, including athletes, coaches, and officials.

Anti-Doping Education in Riyadh
Jim Leacy, a member of the WCBS Anti-Doping Committee, conducted two anti-doping education sessions during the recent IBSF Junior World Snooker Championships in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Play True Day – EEBC Boys Championship 2023
On April 14, 2023, we celebrated the World Play True Day proclaimed by the World Anti-Doping Agency. Under the patronage of the WCBS Anti-Doping Commission and the WCBS Solidarity Anti-Doping Fund, an international competition for juniors was held at the Pino Club in Dębica, Poland. Billiard players from Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Albania participated.

About the Fight Against Doping at GPS’23 in China
Marcin Krzemiński, the chairman of the WCBS Solidarity Anti-Doping Fund, was invited as an expert speaker at the Global Promoters Summit (GPS’23) held in Qinhuangdao, China. Attended by representatives from over 40 countries across Europe, Australia, Asia, Africa, and the Americas, GPS’23 provided an excellent platform for Krzemiński to highlight the ongoing efforts of the WCBS Solidarity Anti-Doping Fund.

Anti-Doping Presentation for Participants of the World Nine Ball Championships
A day before the start of the 9-ball World Championship, an anti-doping training session was held for all participating players. Around 80 individuals gathered at the Targi Kielce Congress Hall. Marcin Krzemiński, WCBS Anti-Doping Director, provided key information on the rules for obtaining a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE), the database of prohibited substances and methods, and the anti-doping educational efforts of WCBS and its partners.
