It was Joshua’s 11th Euro Tour crown, while Pia made it championship number four and the second time that they have triumphed simultaneously, following on from Lasko, Slovenia in 2022.

Billiards Confirmed for The World Games 2029 in Karlsruhe
The World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS) is delighted to confirm that Billiards has once again been included in the official sports programme for The World Games 2029. The announcement was made by the International World Games Association following the ratification of the sports programme at its Annual General Meeting in Lausanne on 25 April 2026.

The best player in Bogota won the first World Cup of 2026. You would be excused for saying “the best player in the world won Bogota”, because the world champion of 2024 currently is. His victory started to look inevitable after his majestic run of 17 in the final against Thanh Luc Tran, taking him from 10-22 to 27-22. Cho followed up on the 17 with 3-2-3-5 and that was the load that broke Tran’s back.

The standard bearer of Vietnamese billiards and one of the most precise players on tour, had a few lesser months, and his countrymen Thanh Luc Tran and Phuong Vinh Bao were knocking on the door. Still, Quyet Chien remains the Vietnamese number one, with an LG Cup to his name, four World Cups, a silver at the World Championships, and now the Blois 3-cushion Challenge.

Michal Szubarczyk Creates History as 14-Year-Old World Champion
