The WCBS Anti-Doping Committee, in partnership with the WCBS Solidarity Anti-Doping Fund, hosted an educational course for participants of the Grand Prix of Poland POL TOUR – 8-Ball. Held at Strefa Club in Łódź, Poland on January 21, 2023, the session attracted 135 attendees eager to learn about anti-doping practices.

The best Polish players participated in the anti-doping training conducted in Kielce by the Anti-Doping Director of WCBS, Marcin Krzemiński. The day before the individual Polish Men’s and Women’s Championships started, 40 people gathered at the Bińkowski Hotel.

Another training for players on the basics of anti-doping rules in sports took place at the Abrikot club in Torrevieja.

A total of 20 people participated in the training session. They were athletes taking part in the international EEBC Pyramid Tour. The WCBS Anti-Doping Committee’s Director, Marcin Krzeminski, conducted the session.

A comprehensive training session focused on the fundamental anti-doping regulations for billiards sports was held at the Abrikot Club in Torrevieja, Spain. Twenty players competing in the international EEBC Pyramid Tour Tournament participated in the training.

The WCBS Solidarity Anti-Doping Fund actively promoted its initiatives during the 7th International Billiard Festival in Kielce, Poland on September 2, 2022. The Fund’s logo was displayed on various posters and banners throughout the event, helping to raise awareness of its mission and activities. This visibility contributed to highlighting the Fund’s commitment to promoting clean sport and educating athletes on anti-doping regulations.

In an effort to strengthen the fight against doping in billiard sports, the World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS) has established a special fund at the request of the Chairman of the WCBS Anti-Doping Commission, Marcin Krzemiński. The newly created WCBS Solidarity Anti-Doping Fund will collect contributions aimed at supporting anti-doping initiatives across the sport.
