Ng On Yee Wins the Inaugural Mongolia World Cup of Women Snooker 2024

Ng On Yee has claimed victory in the inaugural Mongolia World Cup of Women Snooker 2024, defeating reigning Asian Women Snooker Champion Anupama Ramachandran of India with a decisive 3-0 scoreline.

In last night’s semifinals, the seven-time world champion showcased her skill by outclassing local favourite Narantuya Bayarsaikhan with a stunning century break of 113 points in the third frame.

In the final today, Ng On Yee set the tone early with a century break of 100 points. Although Anupama made a strong effort with a break of 30, it wasn’t enough to turn the tide, and Ng On Yee took the second frame 90-55.

The third frame was fiercely contested, but Ng On Yee prevailed by just 9 points, winning it 52-43 to secure the title and the $4,000 prize.

Joint bronze medals were awarded to the semifinalists, Narantuya Bayarsaikhan from Mongolia and Keerthana Pandian from India.
