First ever WCBS Championship has begun
The World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS), is hosting its own championship for the first time in its history, which kicked off today in Ankara, Türkiye.

The World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS) is hosting its own championship for the first time in its history, taking place in Ankara, Türkiye from 20 – 23 of July 2023.
Billiards Sports Officially Confirmed on the Sports Program of The World Games 2025 in Chengdu
On Wednesday 3rd May during the Annual General Meeting in Madrid, the Executive Committee (ExCo) of the International World Games Association (IWGA) unveiled the program for the 12th edition of the Games.
Billiards Sports has been confirmed as one of the 30 official sports of The World Games 2025, to be held from 7th to 17th August 2025 in Chengdu, People’s Republic of China.
WCBS Gears Up For Its First Ever Championship
The WCBS is all set to host its first-ever Championship in Ankara, Turkey from 20-23 July 2023.
A 4-day competition will see 6 teams compete against each other across the disciplines of Carom, 10-Ball Pool, Heyball, and Snooker.
Anti-Doping Meeting in Kielce
The best Polish players participated in the anti-doping training conducted in Kielce by the Anti-Doping Director of WCBS, Marcin Krzemiński. The day before the individual Polish Men’s and Women’s Championships started, 40 people gathered at the Bińkowski Hotel.

The World Confederation of Billiards Sports is delighted to announce that it will hold its inaugural WCBS Championship in Turkey from 17-23 July 2023. The venue will be the TBF Billiard Complex in Ankara.
WCBS Elects New Board Members at its General Assembly in Birmingham, Alabama
At its recently concluded General Assembly on 16th July, 2022, WCBS has elected its new President and Board Members. Mr. Farouk El Barki (UMB representative) from Egypt was unanimously elected as the new President until the next General Assembly in 2026.
Ms. Diane Wild from Switzerland will continue for another term as Secretary-General of WCBS.

Cheung Ka Wai won Hong Kong’s only Gold medal of The World Games Birmingham 2022 when he defeated Egypt’s Abdelrahman Shahin 3-1 in the snooker final.
