Education Course for Athletes

The WCBS Anti-Doping Committee, in partnership with the WCBS Solidarity Anti-Doping Fund, hosted an educational course for participants of the Grand Prix of Poland POL TOUR – 8-Ball. Held at Strefa Club in Łódź, Poland on January 21, 2023, the session attracted 135 attendees eager to learn about anti-doping practices.

Marcin Krzemiński, Chairman of the WCBS Anti-Doping Committee, led the course, covering crucial topics such as safe participation in sport, the prohibited drugs and methods database, the process for obtaining a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE), and the activities of the WCBS Solidarity Anti-Doping Fund. This initiative highlights WCBS’s ongoing commitment to promoting clean sport and educating athletes on maintaining integrity in their competition.
