The Predator Pro Billiard Series returns to Europe this week with the Predator Germany Open at ATLANTIC Hotel Galopprenbahn, Bremen, featuring a 128-player Open event and a 64-player Women’s Division. 

The International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF) is very pleased to announce that we have signed a contract with the Rasson Billiards MFG from China to be the official table sponsor of the IBSF World Championships for the next three years.

In an effort to strengthen the fight against doping in billiard sports, the World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS) has established a special fund at the request of the Chairman of the WCBS Anti-Doping Commission, Marcin Krzemiński. The newly created WCBS Solidarity Anti-Doping Fund will collect contributions aimed at supporting anti-doping initiatives across the sport.

Despite the recent difficult corona force majeure cancellation and postponement of UMB events, and the current world economic situation, UMB and FIVE & SIX Co Ltd. reached an agreement concerning the Media and Marketing Rights.

The IBSF Executives announce the World Underage Snooker Championships 2022 for the Under-16, Under-18 Men and the Under-21 Men & Women categories from 14th August till 27th August 2022 at Bucharest, Romania. These championships are being hosted by the Federatia Romana de Snooker (FRS).

Joshua Filler has won the inaugural 2022 UK Open Pool Championship at the Copper Box Arena, London beating Francisco Sanchez Ruiz in the final 13-7 live on Sky Sports in the UK, Matchroom Pool Facebook in the USA, Canada, Spain, and Italy, Viaplay in Scandinavia, and the Baltics, as well as Matchroom. Live in selected territories.

From May 13 to 15, the 1st Confederal Championship of the AMECC, the African and Middle Eastern Carom Confederation, was held in Cairo. The event was played in 3-Cushion Individuals and Teams with the participation of 24 players from 9 countries, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Palestine, Tunisia, Libya, and Algeria.

A moment that all billiards fans have been waiting for! The World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS) for the first time will organise the WCBS Championship for both Men and Women combining the three disciplines of Carom, Pool, and Snooker.

WCBS recently established an Athletes Council with representatives from the three Billiards Disciplines that make up WCBS.
