Gareth Potts and Kelly Fisher Crowned 2025 WPA Heyball World Champions
The WPA Heyball World Championship 2025 has concluded spectacularly at the Nissan Arena, Brisbane, marking the end of four thrilling days of elite cue sports competition that united the world’s best players under one roof.
Hosted by the World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA) and powered by Joy Billiards, this year’s event featured 128 of the world’s finest cueists—64 men and 64 women—competing for a USD 400,000 total prize pool, equally divided between men’s and women’s divisions.
2025 IBSF World Snooker Championship
Reigning World Champion Muhammad Asif is all set to return to Doha this November to defend his crown at the 2025 IBSF World Men’s Snooker Championship. The Pakistani cueist, already a three-time World Champion, will be competing in Stage-II of the championship, scheduled from 8th to 13th November.
77th UMB World Championship 3-Cushion Individual

Frédéric Caudron was the world’s number one multi-discipline player for many years, changed career paths to become the number one player in the Korean PBA, returned to the World Cup circuit two years ago, and has now added a fourth UMB world title to his resume. Ko Ping Chung (TPE) Crowned 2025 WPA Men’s World 10-Ball Champion in Ho Chi Minh City
After 12 days of world-class competition at the Military Zone 7 Stadium, the 2025 Predator WPA Men’s World 10-Ball Championship has concluded in spectacular fashion, crowning Ko Ping Chung (TPE) as the new World Champion. Ko captured the title with an unbeaten run, marking his second career 10-Ball World Championship crown after his 2019 triumph.
WADA Publishes 2026 Prohibited List
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) published the 2026 List of Prohibited Substances and Methods (List), which was approved by WADA’s Executive Committee (ExCo) during its meeting on 11 September 2025 and enters into force on 1 January 2026.

Billiards Competitions Conclude with Four New Champions
The World Games billiards competitions in Chengdu, China, concluded today (Thursday). The four remaining titles went to Myungwoo Cho (South Korea / Men’s 3-Cushion), Guodong Xiao (China / Men’s Snooker), Oliver Szolnoki (Hungary / Men’s Pool), and Taiyi Zhang (China / Mixed Heyball).

Klompenhouwer, Bai and Han take Gold
Three of the total seven gold medal decisions were on the schedule today in the billiards competitions at the World Games in Chengdu, China. Standing on the top step of the podium were Therese Klompenhouwer (The Netherlands/Women’s 3-Cushion), Yulu Bai (China/Women’s 6-Reds Snooker), and Yu Han (China/Women’s Pool).

On the third day of the billiards competitions at the World Games, the first medal decisions were on the schedule. In Women’s Three-Cushion and Women’s Snooker, the matches for third place were played, and bronze medals were awarded.
