The World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS) is delighted to announce its sponsors for the 2^nd WCBS Championship to be held in Kielce, Poland from 25-28 July 2024.

After a comprehensive tender process done over the last two months, six prestigious brands from the world of billiards sports were chosen to be partners for the upcoming WCBS Championship.

Korea? Turkiye? No, Vietnam is currently the number one 3-cushion country in the world. They supplied the current world champion (Phuong Vinh Bao), the world champions for national teams (Bao and Quyet Chien Tran) and the two most recent World Cup winners, Q.C. Tran and Duc Minh Tran.

Heyball, the rising star in the world of competitive sports, is set to dazzle fans worldwide with its 2024 tournament calendar hosted by JOY Billiards and the World Pool Association (WPA). Here’s a glimpse at the action-packed schedule:

The President of International Billiards and Snooker Federation, Mr. Mubarak Al-Khayarin, holds talks with the Minister of Sports & Youth, Iraq, Dr. Ahmed Al-Mubarqa, and the President of the Iraqi National Olympic Committee, Mr. Aqeel Muftin.

The WCBS is all set to host its second Championship in Kielce, Poland from 25-28 July 2024.

A 4-day competition will see 6 teams compete against each other across the disciplines of Carom, 10-Ball Pool, Heyball, and Snooker.

The 2024 Yalin WPA Men’s World 8-Ball Championship and VenBilliards WPA Women’s World 10-Ball Championship will be staged in Venezuela from October 9-20 after a new three-year partnership was agreed between the Predator Pro Billiard Series and VenBilliardsCorporation.

Cue sports enthusiasts have reason to rejoice as the World Billiards Museum recently unveiled its doors in the picturesque city of Yushan. Nestled amidst the verdant landscapes and rich cultural tapestry of Yushan, this museum stands as a testament to the enduring legacy and global appeal of billiards, and it was a privilege for the World Pool Association to be part of this historical event, contributing to the celebration of cue sports excellence and the preservation of its rich heritage.

The final of the World Championship for National teams could not have had a later moment of truth: the dying seconds of extra time as they say in football. It took two singles matches and a Scotch Double play-off that went to 14-14 before Vietnam’s Phuong Vinh Bao made the glorious last point.
