Following the successful inaugural WCBS Championship in Turkey, the WCBS through its partner federation WPA (World Pool-Billiard Association) is very pleased to announce that its Championship will continue for the next three years following a long-term partnership agreement with the tournament’s main sponsor JOY Billiards.

Today the first WCBS-Championship of the World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS) ended in Ankara. Over four days, the spectators saw great billiards sport in four different disciplines on site and in the total of eight livestreams.

Today the four semi-finalists were determined at the WCBS Championship.
A total of six teams from all continents competed in Ankara, Türkiye, in a round-robin mode over the past three days. Today, the last five matches were on the agenda before the two semi-finals, the match for third place and the finals will be played tomorrow.

Billiards Sports Officially Confirmed on the Sports Program of The World Games 2025 in Chengdu
On Wednesday 3rd May during the Annual General Meeting in Madrid, the Executive Committee (ExCo) of the International World Games Association (IWGA) unveiled the program for the 12th edition of the Games.
Billiards Sports has been confirmed as one of the 30 official sports of The World Games 2025, to be held from 7th to 17th August 2025 in Chengdu, People’s Republic of China.
