The WCBS Board unanimously decided to lift its ban on Russian and Belarusian Athletes from competing in WCBS and its Member Federation Competitions.

Athletes from Russia and Belarus can now compete in Billiards Competitions under a Neutral Flag.

When Rubilen Amit missed a 9-ball in the corner pocket in the 14^th game and allowed her opponent, Germany’s Pia Filler, to snatch the rack and build an 8-6 lead, it appeared her chances to advance to the quarterfinals of the World Games were all but gone.

South Korea’s Eunji Park fought back from an early 3-0 deficit in her round-of-16 match and defeated American Monica Webb, 9-8.

From the brink of defeat, Joshua Filler fought back to win five straight games and beat Tyler Styer 11-10 and set up a mouth-watering quarter-final clash against Shane van Boening at The World Games.

The IBSF is pleased to announce Turkish Billiards Federation has confirmed the dates for the World Snooker Championships 2022 for the Men, Women and Masters categories. These championships shall be played in Antalya, Turkey from 4th November till 17th November 2022.

After 8 successful editions, the organizer of the Lausanne Billiard Masters (LBM) wished to change its formula in order to vary the type of competition each year.

Thus, with the UMB, it was decided that the LBM will act as an innovation lab by making it possible to reach various categories of players (for example Youth and Women) and to try out various game formats.

WCBS participated in its 6th edition of the World Games in Birmingham, Alabama from 7th to 17th July 2022.

The Billiards program comprising of Carom (Men), Pool (Men), Pool (Women), and Snooker (Men) took place from 13th to 17th July 2022.
